How have you been sleeping in lockdown?

How have you been sleeping in lockdown? Surprisingly I have slept amazingly well. Sleeping of course means dreaming. I cannot say I am a great dreamer but when I do, they are usually significant.
A dream that has repeatedly stayed with me during this time is a great truck cutting a swathe through the land and making a straight road. Interestingly the last few times I have gone out, I have had to wait for some similar trucks (although not as big), which are part of the road repairs currently being undertaken on the Island.
Thinking about new times to come and Proverbs 3:6:

In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your pathways straight…

Trusting for all of us that as life begins to return, our pathways will be indeed straight – full speed ahead!
Please continue to watch the website for announcements regarding events. The Island is still in lockdown, however, we do hope that the borders will be open soon. Social distancing (I so do not like that word) is being relaxed on the Island and it may therefore be possible to hold some events locally.

In the meantime we are able to offer prayer ministry by Zoom.

GP Taylor is a New York Times best-selling author and former Vicar. He has written 20 books and is mainly published by Faber and Faber.
We are pleased to say that in 2021 he will be taking a writing retreat for us that will include everything you need to know about getting your book published and how to develop your skills.

If you have written a book during lockdown, he is also available to help you with any writing needs – please get in touch with him at

We are hoping we may be open sooner than anticipated. In the meantime a reminder of a couple of events we are hosting in the Autumn:
